From what I can tell, the title sequence shows the genre is obviously horror due to the ominous music and the build up of sound. This is my favourite previous student work that is on blogger due to the amount of tension and suspense created in the first half of the title sequence. The music is really loud and builds up throughout the sequence. The use of cutting a scene quicker than everything on screen is finished adds effectiveness as it makes the audience want to know what happened after the screen blacked out.
The type of title sequence that this is , is discrete due to the heavily edited scenes and music. This all adds up to explain to general gist of the film.
