Why is Sound So Important In a Film?

why Is Sound So Important In a Film?

Sound is used in a film to establish tone, atmosphere and to help give the audience a clue about what the plot and characters are like and the genre of the film.

Star War

the movie that i had analized was Star Wars this had different types of sounds to present the theme, characters and weather.

the effect that the sound had on me whilst watching it was that it gave me a bit of a shock as the sound of the thunder noise is blended in with Dark Vaderentry.

whilst i was watching the video the non-diegetic soundtrack was as if it was telling a story without words. The pitch and the tone of the music presented shows and expressses diffrent emothions.

diffrent sound emotions represent:

fast drum: creates a senareo as if something is about to happen

trumpet: used to show the introduction of something or someones entrence
